Alkaline crucible is mainly made of magnesia as the main raw material, combined with an appropriate amount of spinel. In addition to refractory materials, there are also a small amount of additives in the material used to make the crucible. The commonly used one is boric acid (H3BO3), which mainly reduces the sintering temperature of sand, promotes the formation of magnesium aluminum spinel, and can change the volume change rate of the crucible.
